  • A distinctive velvety texture and high-quality gloss! Japanese-made round cord with outstanding physical properties
We are often asked the following kind of question: "The type of satin cord I am using at the moment has discolored. Is is possible to buy a kind of satin cord that does not discolor easily?" Satin cord made from rayon or from nylon is commonly available on the market. These types of satin cord are cheap compared to cord made from polyester and look reasonably good, so they are used widely. However, these types of cord do have some problems in terms of durability and ease of use, which is related to the material from which they are made. When rayon gets wet, it can easily shrink and discolor. Meanwhile, nylon tends to yellow when exposed to UV radiation and sunlight, or due to oxidation caused by sweat and oily secretions from the skin. In this regard, the physical properties of polyester are outstanding. There is little fear of it shrinking or discoloring even when washed. In addition, polyester can be made resistant to unraveling by heat cutting the ends, which offers peace of mind when using polyester satin cord for a long time in a range of different applications. It goes without say that we are also very particular about the texture and appearance of our polyester satin cord. Skilled craftsmen are employed to produce the cord using high-quality gloss thread. This superb cord is finished to be perfectly round, with a velvety texture and an elegant gloss that does not bear comparison with rayon cord. We invite you to try our satin cord if you are looking to detail high-quality products, particularly clothing, sundry goods, and accessory cords.
