    • Perfect for use even with stretchable materials! Retroreflective knit tape, made in Japan
      "I need to use this retroreflective tape on a stretchable material. Will it be able to keep up with the stretching?" This is a question that we are often asked. Most retroreflective tapes are unable to adapt well to stretching and compression of the underlying material, which makes them unsuited for use with stretchable materials. They can cause the material to bunch up, ruining the product and causing no end of hassle. With this retroreflective knit tape, however, your worries are over! Our knit tape base is made with thread that is softer and more elastic than normal polyester thread—soft enough to keep up even with materials that were made to stretch. On top of this knit tape, we transfer a layer of stretchable reflective material, made in Japan, to create a retroreflective tape that can keep up with stretchable materials. Reading this, you might think it's a pretty simple job—just make a base knit tape and place the retroreflective material on top of it. In reality, though, with both the knit tape and the retroreflective material not only being stretchable but stretching at different rates from one another, coming out with an even and well-made tape is a difficult task requiring highly-refined techniques. Because of this, some might not expect to find such a product on the market, but give it a try and you'll see why we had the confidence to create it.

      • Depending on performance and display settings, there are instances in which the color of the photo and the actual product slightly differ.
      • In the rare event that the ribbon has a seam in it, we will send extra of the product.
      • Please be aware of the possibility of dye lot variations when placing your order.
      • Width can vary slightly when measuring.
      • Our yarn is dyeable under atmospheric pressure, which lessens the effect of the dye on the yarn's natural characteristics, stability and functionality (especially int the case of polyurethane yarn).
      • Please conduct your own tests for shrinkage as well as sewing to avoid sewing errors and seam puckering in bulk production. After conducting your own tests, please apply appropriate care lable to the garment.
      • Items dyed in deep colors may stain lighter fabrics.
      • The piping product is braided or woven. This product is prone to fraying.
      • This item is a woven tape with one side of its selvedge comprised of loops. Breaking the loops may lead to fraying. to avoid this, please sew multiple stitches on he edge or fold the edge in half.
      • Please be careful about loose threads at the cut end as well as slippage and seam distortion while sewing.
      • Relax spooled items for at least 24 hours before use to avoid shrinkage.
      • Please do not store goods in cardboard boxes in high temperatures/humidity, as this may cause discoloration.
      • Product may turn yellow when exposed to nitrogen oxides.
